Gutters

Gutters are not only important for your home’s trim, but it’s equally as important for its foundation. Gutters that do not hold water properly allow streams of water to beat on your homes foundation every time it rains. Sphinx installs seamless 6” gutters that are rust proof, elongating the life of your home fascias, trim and foundation.

Installation

Tear-Off

All re-roofs begin with covering plants, landscaping, and fragile outdoor furnishings. Next we tear off the old brittle shingles to expose the wood decking that may also need replacement.

 Underlayment

We ensure our contractors use only the highest quality synthetic felt paper, which is as waterproof as a plastic tarp.

Drip-Edge

To keep your fascias and home trim from rotting, we install a protective lip around the home’s perimeter to ensure no water comes in contact with the inside of the trim or fascia.

Shingle Selection

Sphinx contractors mainly install lifetime warranty shingles from manufacturers like GAF, Certainteed, Owens Cornings and IKO due to the better quality of the product, but we also install traditional 3-Tab shingles at the clients request.

Filing a Claim

After a thorough roof inspection has been completed, if we have confidence your roof will be approved by your insurance company, we will assist you in filing a claim.

Adjuster Meeting

Once your claim has been submitted, an assigned adjuster will call you to schedule an inspection. Sphinx will send it’s inspector to point out the damages we discovered to your insurance company inspector.
